This Sunday we celebrate the baptism of Jesus. The sanctuary will be dressed for the "season of lights," the time after Christmas. Join us for a better understanding of the meaning of your baptism.

Alice Thorsby is in the hospital. Please pray that she will return to health and strength.

After worship on Sunday, January 24th, the Annual Meeting of the Congregation of Church of Peace will be held. The Building Committee will present plans for the new addition. Routine Annual Meeting business will also be done. Plan to join us for this exciting and important meeting.

A prayer for today: Now that winter has truly arrived, I am very grateful, O God, for a warm place in which to live and work. I am even more thankful for the warmth of spirit which your love provides. I pray that you will help me to live as an example of a faithful disciple. Please bless Alice Thorsby with returning health and strength. I pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
