Sunday is Mother’s Day or, as we refer to it in the church, the Festival of the Christian Home. Pastor Jim will be preaching. The confirmands will introduce themselves. Every household will receive a gift to take home. Join us at 8:45 a.m. for this inspirational and enjoyable service.

John Waldschmidt and Taylor Opperman are scheduled for surgery later this week. Please remember them in your prayers.

Saturday from 1:30-3:30 we need help sorting the food which will be donated to us by the Postal Carriers Food Drive. This is a job which is done sitting down; no physical strength is necessary. Come help out with this important ministry.

Tomorrow I will be at an all-day meeting of the Church and Ministry Committee of the Northeast Association of the UCC. That is why you are getting this greeting on a Wednesday.
