Greetings from Church of Peace!

Sunday is Harvest Home, a lovely day in the church year when we celebrate the abundance of the harvest and give thanks to God who provides so generously for us. Our sanctuary will be resplendent with the colors and textures of the field and garden. Join us at 8:45 a.m.

We extend our Christian sympathy to the family of Marilyn Schultz who died yesterday. We pray that God’s comfort and peace will surround them.

Bill Whittaker is a patient in the hospital. Please remember him when you pray.

We extend our joyful congratulations to COP members Mark Rymer and Bethany Goodwin who will be married in our sanctuary this afternoon.

This Sunday, instead of traditional classroom Sunday School, families and interested church members will be boarding a bus and heading to Pilgrim Center for a day of faith-building and fun. No classes will be held at the church.

A prayer for today: I praise you, O God, for your unending kindness toward me and the many ways you bless my life. Thank you! Open my heart to serve and honor you in the way that I live this day. I pray that the family of Marilyn Schultz will experience your gift of peace and that Bill Whittaker will return to full health and strength soon. Bless Mark Rymer and Bethany Goodwin with a long and full life together. All of these things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
