of Peace!
What a blessing Sunday’s service
will be for us all! We will hand out
Bibles to our third graders and dedicate our Sunday School staff. The Chapel
Choir will sing an anthem. Of course there will be praying and singing and learning
from the Word. Join us at 8:45 a.m.
Thursday’s NEW Worship will be
held tonight in the Upper Room. If you
need a spiritual hug, this is the place to be at 6:30 p.m.
At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, the
Worship Enhancement Team will meet to plan for the autumn worship services.
Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. the
Shawl Ministers will gather for a time of creation and conversation. We would be delighted to have more shawl
ministers. If you don’t know how to knit
or crochet, we will teach you. This is a
very enjoyable way to share God’s healing love.
On Saturday, September 21st
a bus will take members and friends of Church
of Peace to Chicago for an architectural boat trip as
well as other stops. Interested? Give the church office a call (921-8215) for
more information.

none who rely upon me be disappointed.

joy in my work and renewal in my leisure time.
