Greetings from Church of Peace 06-22-17

Greetings from Church of Peace!

We live in such a lovely world. Our service this Sunday will focus on our thankful response for the beauty and bounty surrounding us. As a part of our service, we’ll be blessing our new landscaping. It is beautiful and will grace our property for decades to come. Again, thank you to all who donated and helped to plant. Together, we’ve come up with a lovely finish for our building.

Saturday is the day when we will plant the new lawns. Help! We’ll be here from 9-noon, raking and planting. It won’t be heavy work, but there is plenty to do and it is one of those days when many hands will make light work. Please bring a rake and shovel. A wheelbarrow would be very helpful as well.

Bob Treptow remains a patient at St. Agnes Hospital. Please pray for his complete and speedy recovery.

That’s the news from Church of Peace.

We’ll see you in church! Pastors Jenny and Jim

A prayer for today: O God, the beauty of your creation continues to delight and amaze me. Thank you for all the joy it brings and the myriad of ways the earth cares for us. Please show me how to be a good steward of the world and its resources. I ask that your healing light shine upon Bob Treptow as he recovers. Amen.
