Greetings from Church of Peace!

Advent begins this Sunday and with it comes a host of inspiring and fun times at Church of Peace.

 Saturday morning at 9:00 our Sunday School students will gather for the first rehearsal for their Christmas program. They will be finished at 10:30. Parents, please make every effort to have your children participate in this rehearsal.  Worship this Sunday will feature the lighting of the Advent Candle of Hope. The sanctuary will be enhanced for the new season. Join us at 8:45 a.m.  Following worship on Sunday the Sunday School will meet. Adults are asked to stay after worship for an informational congregational meeting concerning the budget and staffing.  This Sunday is the last day to order a poinsettia.  Monday we serve Loaves and Fishes. You can sign up on the bulletin board at church. We will be working from 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Any day you’d like, you can stop in the church office from 9-1 to purchase a Church of Peace ornament that is being sold by the Ladies of Peace. The ornaments are $6.00.

Looking ahead:

We’ll see you in church! Pastors Jenny and Jim

A prayer for today: Thank you, dear God, for this day and all the ways that your kindness has already blessed me during its hours. May my words and actions reflect my deepest gratitude to you.
