Greetings from Church of Peace 12/10/15

Greetings from Church of Peace!

Joy! That’s the Advent candle for this Sunday. It will be lit by the Moore family. Our Scripture readings will show us how to open our lives to more joy. Join us at 8:45 a.m. for this uplifting service.

Gordon Rose is now recovering at St. Francis Home. We extend our Christian sympathy to the family of Joan Beyer.

Join in the fun as we go caroling on Sunday, December 20th. We’ll meet at the church at 5:00 for pizza and then ride a bus around town to visit some of our members. We’ll be back at the church by 7:30. This will be so heart-warming. Please sign up on the bulletin board so we have plenty of pizza.

A prayer for today: During this week of peace, I pray for inner peace and for peace within my family. I also pray for peace in our world, especially between people of different religions, races, and cultures. Oh God, help all your children to live in harmony and with respect for one another. Amen.
